Garage runs a vehicle workshop from the moment a car arrives at the gate to the moment it is handed back. Customer vehicles carry their chassis, engine number, insurance and a full odometer history, so "due for a service" is answerable rather than remembered. A job card moves through eight stages — received, inspecting, estimate, approved, in repair, quality check, invoiced, delivered — one at a time, and every move is written into a history nothing can edit. The rule the module is built around is that nothing is repaired until the customer has approved the estimate: that is checked against a real approval on the record, so no path can invent consent. Inspections are a photo checklist that becomes read-only when finished, which is what makes it worth anything when a customer says a mark was not there. Findings are offered to the estimate one at a time, with a person choosing the service, because a worn tyre is a fact and what to charge for it is a judgement. Spare parts are your ordinary Inventory products, issued from real stock when the job is invoiced — not a second parts store with a second set of figures. Invoicing raises a real sales invoice through the same path every other module uses, takes the parts off the shelf and moves the job, all in one step: if any of it fails, none of it happened. Bays show what is standing where, worked out from the job cards so a bay can never be full of a job that was cancelled an hour ago. Technicians clock on and off, one job at a time, and the job card shows booked hours against quoted hours — both numbers, not a score. Warranty starts when the job is invoiced and ends on whichever runs out first, the months or the kilometres. Insurance claims keep the three amounts that are never the same — estimated, approved and settled — on one screen, and flag a settlement that came in under the approval.

The car arrives. You open a job card against the plate, type what the owner said, and note the odometer — which goes into the vehicle's history by itself.
A technician walks round it with the inspection checklist and photographs the front pads. The pads are marked Urgent, so they appear as a finding.
You add the brake service to the estimate from that finding, print it, and send it on WhatsApp. The line reads "Brake Service — Brakes: Front pads", so the owner can see why it is there.
They approve it on the phone. You record who approved it and how — and only now does In repair appear as an option.
The car goes on Lift 1, a technician clocks on, and the job passes its quality check. Invoicing raises the sales invoice, takes the pads out of Inventory and moves the job in one step.
The brake service carries six months or 10,000 km, so a guarantee starts today — and ends on whichever comes first.
